  • Comparative analysis of the balance structures of companies in different industries (real-life examples) 

Case study (business game continuation): reflection of the company’s operations and compilation of financial statements. Balance compilation and analysis 

  • Profit and loss statement: information on the company’s economic indicators: 
  • Types of earnings: gross earnings, EBIT, EBITDA, net earnings
  • Analysis of the structure and dynamics of the profit and loss statements of companies in different industries (real-life examples) 

Case study (business game continuation): Profit and loss statement compilation and analysis

  • Cash flow statement: information on the company’s finances: Classification of cash flows and its goals
  • Case study: analysis of the structure and dynamics of the cash flow statements of companies in different industries

Case study (business game continuation): compilation and analysis of the Cash Flow Statement and its comparison with the Profit and loss statement. Understanding of differences 

  • Effectiveness measures of the company:
  • Return on invested capital (ROIC) and its influence on economic value added (EVA), WACC (Weighted Average Cost of Capital)
